Pat Santana is a Spanish director with a love of striking visuals and game-changing narratives. After studying Arts and Design in Barcelona, she worked in advertising for over a decade. A turning point in her life pushed her to New York to pursue her dreams of becoming a director. Pat lives in LA, where she worked as a commercial and content director for several years for clients such as Netflix, Disney, and Wendy’s. Furthermore, her narrative work has been selected at Oscar-Qualifying festivals like Cinequest, Hollyshorts, and LA Shorts Fest. Recently, Pat directed her first episode of television for Dynasty (The CW).

In 2018, Pat had the honor to be part of the Filming With Werner Herzog’s workshop in the jungle of Peru – an experience that changed her both as a person and as a filmmaker. She is also an alumni of Ryan Murphy’s 2020 Half Initiative program, where she shadowed EP Brad Buecker on 911 Lone Star’s season finale. She was recently invited to be part of the 2021-2022 Paramount Directors Initiative program. Pat loves telling stories and has different TV and film projects in development. One of her features, Mal Aire, was selected to participate at the Torino Lab Next 2021.
